Karate is very much a striking martial art and forms part of our self defence syllabus as you need to know how to strike to keep yourself safe.

It includes punches, knee strikes, elbows and kicks.

Karate is suitable for all ages and is one of the best ways to improve overall health and fitness. Practising Karate will help in building muscle tone, cardiovascular capabilities and stamina.

In addition Karate will improve your coordination, agility, core strength and reflexes.


There are also other skills such as joint locks, weapons defence and some throws as well.

We use Karate as part of our philosophy of taking the best parts of each of the martial arts we teach and rolling it into our advanced self defence syllabus.
