Sparring

Sparring Liverpool: Sparring involves sensible and controlled contact between participants. Our classes for those who are 11 years old and over.

Sparring is also available in all our teenage and adult classes but is completely optional. You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to.

Sparring is great exercise, good fun, and a highly effective way to prepare that person for a much more real world scenario of self defence.

All our classes are done in a controlled manner and the participants aren’t going to suffer injuries.

Those doing sparring would wear protective gear to keep them safe. This includes head guards, body armour, shin guards and groin guards.

Sparring classes enable you to practise self defence moves in a safe way, without landing heavy strikes.

Sparring includes elements of boxing, kick boxing, Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Krav Maga.

It’s all about building up the person’s striking, defending and take down skills. This is all performed in a safe manner on the training mats.

It’s done in a safe way so everyone goes home with no injuries and ready for school, college, University or work the next day.
